Name server is a server that handles queries regarding the location of a domain name’s various services such as website, emails and so on. It is also a part of the Domain Name System (DNS) which maintains a directory of domain names and translate them to IP addresses.
This means that when a user visits a domain, a DNS lookup first checks its name servers and reviews the DNS records for that domain accordingly.
If you have a domain registered and managed by another provider, but would like to change it to North Networking, then you need to update your Nameservers to the following:
Nameserver 1 | Nameserver 2 |
dns1.northnetworking.com ns1.northnetworking.com (old) |
dns2.northnetworking.com ns2.northnetworking.com (old) |
